Delivery update

There seems to have been only one talking point in the last few weeks, and that's the snow! The weather forecasters are now talking about "the coldest winter for thirty years" and nowhere seems to have escaped, including Totally Shoes Towers:

Pretty, isn't it? However not so good for delivery drivers - I spoke to the manager of our local Interlink depot earlier and he said that some of his staff, who live only 10 miles away from the depot, took three hours to get home last night due to particularly heavy snowfall. As a result the local depot is closed today and will not be collecting from us - they're hoping to open tomorrow but this depends on the condition of the roads in the morning.

It seems to be a similar story up and down the country, with Scotland particularly badly affected over the last few weeks, so if you've ordered a pair of shoes from us recently and they haven't arrived yet, we apologise - they've almost certainly been held up due to the snow and ice, but we and our couriers are doing everything we can to get the shoes to you as quickly as possible.

On a brighter note Royal Mail do appear to be delivering today and we're hoping they'll collect from us at the normal time - so we'll be sending all shoe orders by post until the Interlink depot opens again.

Once again apologies for the delays and thank you for being so patient - we'll keep you updated on the situation via the blog.

Lee
